I have a small dealership sticker on the trunk of my car I would like to remove because it looks really tacky and ugly. I am thinking that just taking it to the carwash and using a pressure washer should be a safe idea but just would like to hear some ideas.

Even a pressure washer can’t remove this stuff. It looks like grayish dust or maybe road tar that’s stuck on the wheelwells. There are also some asphalt specks that hardened on the paint on some areas. Is there a solution or chemical that can remove this without damaging the paint or undercoat? Thanks in advance!
I also tried scrubbing it with an abaca scrubber (I’m afraid the paint will get damaged if I use a more abrasive one) then blast the dirt with a pressure washer, but when it dries off the gray stuff is still there
yes it’s not the rustproofing because dealer said they didn’t apply any rustproofing to the underchassis.

Someone told me I had to be careful if I washed it with a pressure washer because of the electrical. What’s the right way to do it?

I filled up the oil on my van and forgot to put the cap back! I now have oil everywhere. A friend suggested a mix of petrol and water sprayed onto the engine, leave it for a short while (15-20 mins) then spray it with a pressure washer. However not too sure the bloke knows what he’s talking about, can anyone help ?

So this is the first time I’m considering washing my car with a pressure washer. For some reason it seems like overkill to use such a powerful method to wash the car because…I’ve seen my dad use it to remove old paint off wood. I want to know if using a pressure washer will remove the paint off the car. Thanks.
Thanks so much for the answers!

The vehicle caught fire while sitting on smooth concrete driveway, burned the rear to the ground after the gas tank burst, melted the alloy wheels, tires and a various plastic parts onto the surface.

We have used a pressure washer and a shovel to remove all of the build-up but the stains remain. Tried a commercial driveway cleaner but it wasn’t even remotely effective. Anybody had success with any other method?
